<Regular care>
The wooden handle is coated with only natural paint at the time of shipment. If the luster begins to fade with use, apply edible oil (linseed oil, perilla oil, olive oil, etc.) or commercially available beeswax to the entire handle. Allow to dry thoroughly before storing.
If scratches or stains are noticeable, polish with fine-grit sandpaper and then apply oil.
